Kessler Scholars Program

The Kessler Scholars Program (KSP) at Brown University is a four-year, cohort-based program that supports undergraduate U-FLi students through a combination of advising, programming, and community-building experiences.

Scholars join a close-knit cohort and participate in structured programming that focuses on building community, navigating college, and developing a strong foundation for success at Brown and beyond.

KSP builds on the foundation of the former FLi Scholars Program (FLiSP), continuing its commitment to supporting U-FLi students across their full college journey.

“ This program has taught me to reframe my first-generation and low-income background as one I should be proud of declaring openly. It taught me that conversations about these identities should not be marked as off limits. I am now comfortable with talking about these identities that I have tried to hide away for so long. ”
